Obituary

Our loving father, grandfather, and friend, W. Howard Poulter, age 83, passed away December 23, 2001 in Taylorsville, Utah.

Born June 23, 1918 in Ogden, Utah, son of William Richard and Eliza Matilda Hancock Poulter. Married Adaline Ruth Langtimm October 12, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple January 2, 1952. She preceded him in death November 7, 1995.

He lived a lifetime of service to family, friends, country and church. He served a Spanish speaking mission in Texas and later stake missions in Ogden, Utah. He served his country for three years. He graduated from Weber State College and Palmer Chiropractic College with both a D.C. and a Ph.C. Degree and doctored until his death. Music and Pipe Organs were a lifelong pursuit. He was an organ technician for the Salt Lake Tabernacle organ for 17 years. He used his knowledge of Spanish to serve many years in the Jordan River Temple. His loving heart and dedication to beautiful music will be missed by all.

He is survived by daughters, Pattie (Kelly) Bennion, Taylorsville, UT, and Francyne North, Sandy, UT; sons, David (Denise) Poulter, Dallas, TX; Jeff (Shelly) Poulter, Clinton, UT; Brian (Lavon) Poulter, Mesa, AZ; 18 grandchildren; four great-grand-children. Preceded in death by wife, Adaline in 1995; sister, Marion in 1978.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2002, 12 noon, at the Paradise Ward Chapel, 1556 West Lovely Road (4980 South), where friends may call Wednesday, January 2, 2001, at the church, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal
