Obituary

On Saturday, October 12, 2019, Vickie Hernandez, loving mother of three children, grandmother, sister and friend passed away at the age of 55.
She was born April 14, 1964 to Stanley and Lillian Davies. Vickie was taken from us too soon, but was greeted by her wonderful parents. She is going to be greatly missed. Vickie had so many important roles in this world that mattered to so many different people. She was an amazing friend, a devoted sister, and an unconditionally loving mother.
She is survived by son, Justin (Kim); daughter, Cherie, aka Baby girl, (Russell); and son, Antoine; as well as five grandchildren that she adored and cherished: Meeria, Colten, Conner, Micco and Dason. She is also survived by her sisters, Connie (Mary), Colleen (Marv), Debbie (Keith), and Cathy.
Vickie enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She loved animals, and was an avid music, movie and football fan. Being with family, spoiling her grandchildren, and doing things for others was her greatest joy of all. She had a one of a kind laugh and her smile lit up the room.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held prior from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Taylorsville City Cemetery.
