Obituary

Steven Andrew Florez "Go With The Flo" Our loving husband and father passed away October 6, 2009 in Murray, Utah. He was born November 30, 1951 in Brigham City, Utah to Gabriel and Inez Mendez Florez. Flo served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a chef for six years. He attended Utah State University. He worked for several auto dealerships through the valley for over 30 years. He was currently employed by Gus Paulos. He loved life, people, and cars. He enjoyed playing the trumpet. And he always had a positive attitude. He is survived by his wife, Patricia. Two children, Jessica and Gabriel (Andy) Florez. Sisters and brother, Julia, Mary, Veta, Kathleen, and Daniel. Godchildren, Gabriella, Libby, Ashley, Crystal, Alisha, and Brenden. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the Heart and Lung Center at the Intermountain Medical Center. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 174 East 900 South. A vigil service will be held Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
