Obituary

Sean Rogers Kofoed "Strange", 46, died May 14, 2017. Sean was born on November 14, 1970 to Preston and Winona Kofoed. He graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1989. He was a gifted artist and an excellent drummer. He would often sit in as a drummer in his father's band "Bone". He loved spending time at Dee's Restaurant for hours working on his art and drinking coffee. He really loved heavy metal music, especially, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne. Sean had a gentle and sweet soul, he loved drawing roses and giving them to people, he was loved by many and will be missed.
He is survived by his father, Preston (Vickie) Kofoed, his wife, Tina and step-daughter, Mary Chew (Dustin), his siblings, Kori (Will) Wirth, Misty (Warren) Kelm, Ryan (Bethany) Kofoed and Jake (Rachelle) Kofoed, 6 nieces & 6 nephews and his lifelong best friend and cousin Eric Hansen. He was preceded in death by his mother, her husband, Edward "Mo" Bradley, his uncle, Kenneth Kofoed and his grandparents.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Taylorsville 19th Ward, 2030 Chateau Avenue (5225 South). A graveside service will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Taylorsville City Cemetery.
