Obituary

Mary Ann Cederholm left us Sunday as a result of a massive stroke. She passed while doing the things she loved: tending to her garden of beautiful roses and flowers, and creating beautiful quilts, to give to those she loved, or donate to others.

Mom lived a full but often difficult life shared by many who experienced the Great Depression and WWII. These could not help but to define her and the wonderful and strong spirit she possessed, but she never let these or other obstacles deter or defeat her in her quests.

Her greatest accomplishment was her family and the love she had for them. That love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, family members and many 'adopted members' to her circle of loving family can't be measured. All who knew and loved her will greatly feel the void in our lives with her departing.

Mom, we bid you a loving farewell from this life and await our reunion in the next.

She was preceded in death by sisters, brothers, and parents, and is survived by a devoted and loving brother, Mac Hansen; children, Sandra Cederholm, Michael R. Cederholm (Barbara), Gennie Alderson, Jeff Cederholm (Teri), and Kelly Cederholm (Mandy); fifteen grandchildren; and thirty-three ½ great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. MDT in the Taylorsville Memorial Park Cemetery, 4575 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, followed by an gathering for family and friends who are invited to pay their respects in the LDS Chapel located at 10200 South 1300 West in South Jordan.
