Obituary

Finally on April 1, 1997, it was `MY TURN!' Leone, near 80, joined her precious John, her parents, Sam and Ellen, and brother Vernon for a great reunion and celebration. Her ordeal for the past four years has taught us all patience, long-suffering, service, love, caring, respect and devotion.

How she loved her grandsons and her family and she will miss everyone - Carol and Ralph Thompson, Helen and Darrell Quinn, Barbara and Herschel Armstrong, Homer, Marge, Bertha and Ron, Barb and her prize grandsons. She leaves an incredible legacy of five stripling grandsons...

Her daughter-in-law,assisted by her sons and fabulous health care professionals, did what few would or could do: lovingly cared for Leone at home for years.

Leone wishes to be remembered for her devoted temple service, her beautiful artistic creations both in her garden and on canvas, her church service as Relief Society President and Primary teacher and her exquisite Sunday feasts.

She will always be thought of by her family as totally giving and unselfish, always putting her family and friends ahead of herself.

A farewell tribute will be at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary at 4760 South State Street in Murray at 12 noon on Thursday, April 3, 1997. Friends may call one hour prior to the tribute. Interment, Taylorsville City Cemetery.

To live worthy to join her in her Heavenly Mansion is our goal.
