Kathy was born January 29, 1944 in Salt Lake City to Jens S. and Arlean Snarr Christensen. She grew up in Magna, Utah. Married Jerry Talbot July 15, 1960. After 47 years of marriage, they were sealed in the Jordan River Temple Sept. 20, 2007. Kathy was a kind and generous person, devoted to her family and to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings and especially enjoyed playing the piano, organ and singing in the choir. Kathy was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her family meant the world to her and she would do anything for them. She was always thinking of others before herself. She freely gave of her time, continuously performing selfless acts of kindness and supporting everyone she knew in all their endeavors.

She attended countless wedding showers, weddings, baptisms, missionary farewells and homecomings, graduations and funerals in support of others. She worked for the Utah State Office of Education for over 20 years and was active in family businesses for many years. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to see many parts of the world. She also loved family camping trips and vacations. She enjoyed taking pictures and would never miss an opportunity to capture a moment on camera. Over the years she owned several dogs and loved them like they were her own children. She loved watching hers sons, and later her grandchildren, play sports. She was always so proud of them and encouraged them in all they did. Kathy loved shopping. Christmas was her favorite time of year because she loved shopping for others.
