John Clair "Jack" Robb died September 28, 2002, after a long battle with heart and lung problems. He was born April 18, 1929, in Cedar City, UT, to John Colvin and Hortense Beatty Robb. Married Dolores Rae Wilson Dec 15, 1949; their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Jack served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and in many church callings. He worked as management in the trucking industry. He also served with the Equipment Interchange Association and on the board of directors and as president of the Mt. Tabby Improvement Group. Count-less children and teens called him "grandpa." Survived by wife, Dolores; children, Lynn (Rick) Williams, Jan Chandler, Sam (Collette) Robb, Judy Haacke, John Cal (Michelle) Robb, Susan (Charles) Kirby, Lorraine (Eliu) Matagi, Riet Robb; sisters, Sharon Jones, Alaine (Garth) Covington; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. Services will be 11 a.m. Wed. Oct 2, 2002, Hunter Stake Center, 7015 W. Lochness Ave (3605 S). Friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m., Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S, Magna, and Wed. 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery.
