"Gone Camping"
James Donald Russell, 32, passed away quickly and unexpectedly on September 22, 2018 in Midvale, UT. He was the fourth of five children born to Donald G. and Esther B. Russell.
He graduated from Taylorsville High School, served an LDS Atlanta North Mission, and later attended Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah. He enjoyed being with his family the most. Jimmy also liked the outdoors, camping, movies, Fortnite, travel, cooking tasty creations, and studying his scriptures. He married Lindsay Rose Mock in the Draper Temple on June 7, 2014, treasuring her love and their marriage covenant. An Eagle Scout, he was an esteemed employee in the hotel industry in Utah and Nevada, most recently at Stein Eriksen Residences in Deer Valley. People of all ages enjoyed his company. To know Jimmy, was to love him. He had keen faith and a deep love for his Savior. He championed generosity, patience, and kindness to others. We miss you tremendously, Jimmy, and can't wait to be with you again.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Lindsay; parents and siblings: Rebecca Sawyer (Edward), Brian Russell (Katie), Michelle Paterson (Chris), and Megan Kartchner (Alan). He had eleven nieces and nephews who adored his every move.
