Ila Rae Harman Riley, died peacefully in her home on May 17, 2015 in Taylorsville, UT due to complications following cancer. She was 73.

Ila was born in 1942 in Murray, UT to her parents Lachoneus and Evelyn Harman. She graduated from Granger High School and attended BYU. She lived in Taylorsville and worked at the 3rd District Court until retiring. She treasured her family and loved to spoil her grandchildren especially at Christmas time. She loved spending time in her yard attending to her garden, plants and flowers that bloomed in spring, summer and fall. Ila was a generous and kind woman always finding ways to help those in need. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a strong testimony of her Savior and served faithfully in various callings.

Ila is survived by her children; Robyn (Gary) Wood, Billy (Laura) Riley, Patty (Kurt) Holm and David (Krista) Riley; her siblings; Jay Harman, Darlene Nelson, Doris Jones and Janice Dabb; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Mark Riley.

Services will be held at Taylorsville South Stake Center, 3495 W 4850 S, Taylorsville, UT. Friends and family may visit Wednesday, May 20th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday, May 21st from 9:00 am to 10:15 am prior to the funeral service scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
