DonChristensen "Loving Husband" Don Odell Christensen, age 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family January 16, 2003 in Murray, Utah.Born May 28, 1934 in Salt Lake City, UT son of Grant Odell and Violet Otellia Johnson Christensen. Married Connie Fay Nelson April 12, 1956; solemnized June 1, 1965 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dad was very well known in the area for his work servicing and repairing typewriters for many local companies. He served 9-1/2 years combined service with the Utah Air National Guard 151st/191st Units. He loved spending time with his family. Survived by his loving wife, Connie, for 46 years; children, Russell Don Christensen, Kyle Blair, both of Ogden, Jeffrey Andrew Christensen, Taylorsville, Brenda Jean (Steve) Rubin, Phoenix, AZ, Maria Ann (Mike) Smith, Pocatello, ID, John Edward Christensen, West Valley City; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchil-dren; sisters, Beverly McGowan, New-port Beach, CA, Jeannine Shea, South Jordan; and brothers, Larry (Sherry) Christensen, Richmond, VA, Lynn (Su-zanne) Christensen, Draper. He loved all animals, especially his dog, Buttons. Preceded in death by parents and grandson, Andrew Scott. Services will be Tues. 1 p.m. Taylorsville LDS 10th Ward chapel, 4950 S. 1950 W. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd and Tues. at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Taylorsville City Cemetery.
