lyde C. Tucker
1925-2015
Riverton, UT-Our beloved father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather returned to our heavenly family Wednesday, November 3, 2015. He passed away at his home in Riverton, Utah. Clyde was born in Butte, Montana August 29, 1925 to Clyde Anderson Cloward and Effie Arvella Hansen. He served in the Navy during WWII. Clyde married his sweetheart Lois Joe-Ellen Timothy on February 27, 1948. They were sealed for time and all eternity on January 17, 1955. Clyde served in many church capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois, his son Neil Collins, his sisters Elaine Hazel and Maxine Hugo, his brothers Christian Tucker and Neldon Tucker, two grandchildren Lyle John Tucker and Nicole Dawn Tucker. He is survived by his 11 children, Timothy (Cindy) Tucker, Linda (Brian) Mabey, Bonnie (Jim) Hitt, Claudia (Kelly) Owens, Sandra (Glen) Courtright, Becky (Kyle) Saxton, Peggy (Ken) Fitzgerald, Nancy Hansen, Alice (Brian) Fivas, Michael (Annette) Tucker, and Paul Tucker, 48 grandchildren, 78 great- grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015, at 11:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior to the service at Riverton 18th Ward, 2361 West 13400 South, Riverton, Utah. A graveside service will be held with Military Honors at the Taylorsville City Cemetery, 4500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
