Brandon Keith Lanier
January 3, 1999 – June 2, 2019
Our flaco returned to our Heavenly Father on the morning of June 2, 2019.
Brandon was born on January 3, 1999 in Miami, Florida to Gabriella Galeas and Brian Lanier. He was the third child of four, and was loved so much by his family. As a child, Brandon loved Power Rangers, the red one specifically, and dinosaurs – his favorite movie was The Land Before Time. He was always a happy, energetic and loving boy. His family always made fun of him because he was so little – smaller than his baby brother – but eventually, he outgrew us all.
As a teen and young adult, he loved playing basketball with his older brother and video games with his baby brother. He was a huge basketball and football fan. His favorite teams were the Miami Heat and the New England Patriots. Whenever the Patriots lost the Superbowl, he cried and cried because he was so upset. He loved to spend time with his friends and family and always made an effort to make sure everyone around him was smiling. He was an incredibly selfless person who cared so much for everyone in his life and prioritized everyone else’s needs over his own. In doing this, he made no time to take care of himself. His infectious, big smile lit up every room he walked in and that smile will be missed so much.
He is survived by his loving mother, Gabriella Galeas; his father, Brian Lanier; his big brother, Michael Galeas and his wife, McKayla Aldred; his two nieces, Malaiya and Maiyah Galeas; his big sister, Tatiana Lanier and her fiancé, Zachary Campbell; his baby brother, Brenton Lanier; and his half siblings.
