Boyce Edward Syme "Family Man" Boyce Edward Syme, 57, passed away November 11, 2008 in Taylorsville, Utah.Born September 15, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Charles and Ruth Syme. Married Julie Ann Roberts; later divorced. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the St. Louis Mission. He had a passion for Christmas and loved collecting Santa Clauses, angels, working in his garden and working on his '73 Ford pickup. Survived by children: Jackson, Jonathan (Jill), Michael and Katie (Mike) Martinez; seven grandchildren; mother; siblings: Vicki Buchannan, Gordon, Kathy Jacobs, Debbie Zufelt, Sherrie Mecham, Bruce and Rick. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the Taylorsville 28th Ward, 3495 West 4850 South where a viewing will be held at the church, 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery.
